In addition to asbestos removal and surveys, Hereford Saftey Environmental can provide your company with the necessary regulations and supervision to ensure safe management of future projects in buildings where ACMs are present. Hereford Safety Environmental will provide support and supervision for all building operations during renovation and maintenance projects. Also, the addition of an on-site information system on asbestos materials will be distributed throughout the buildings so that all visitors are aware of the safety procedures.

In addition to the practical side of hazardous waste removal Hereford Safety Environmental also provides an advisary service to help keep you up to speed with changes in the law and familiarise your maintenance staff with the procedures of asbestos management.

If our survey claims that Asbestos Containing Materials (ACMs) are present or are likely to be present. Normally the duty holder must produce a written plan recording the following important details, but Hereford Safety Environmental are able to conduct the plan for you as part of our asbestos management service.

  • Any ACM risks that are known or presumed as identified in the survey.
  • What precautions and actions are to be taken to reduce or eliminate any risks.
  • A plan for the monitoring, maintenance and recording of known or presumed ACM’s until their removal is necessary.

The plan needs to be constantly reviewed and revised, and when complete, it should identify all the risks associated with the ACMs within the premises and the measures that are in place to reduce these risks. The plan must be available to all persons, including emeregency services, who may potentially disturb any of the known or presumed ACMs within the premises.
